Hi Everyone, my name is Jaiden, I am 14 years old and the creator of Adventures Await Clothing co. 
First, a bit about me. I’m on the Autism Spectrum and I’ve travelled in a caravan with my Dad since I was 3, and I have been unschooled for 8 years.
Most of my learning has been about cars, mechanics, aerodynamics and racing and in 2022 I was lucky enough to be invited to crew on drag cars and also on a drift car which inspired me to chase my dreams.
Since I was a little kid I was obsessed with HotWheels cars and loved watching all kinds of motorsport, always dreaming of having my own race car one day. In 2022 I set a goal of buying my first race car for my 14th birthday so I started this brand where I make shirt designs to encourage people (especially kids!) to seek adventure and chase their dreams, while also helping me chase my own dreams.
At first it was kind of hard to get the business off the ground because I had never built a website, made a shirt design, or owned business before. I spent 4 months learning to make this website using wordpress, as well as learning how to use photoshop and illustrator to create the designs you see on our store!
6 months later I sold enough shirts to buy my first race car! It’s a 1989 Nissan Skyline R31 which is one of my favourite cars. It is currently a Rolling Shell which means it has no engine or gearbox so I stil have lots of work left ahead of me! I am planning to use the car for all kinds of motorsport, until I decide I decide what I like doing the best.
My long term plans are to raise enough money so I can start a race car team (AA Motorsports) where I want to teach and expose other car loving kids to mechanics, tuning, and of course racing.
One day I hope to have lots of cars so I can also offer ride alongs, and have cars for teens to learn the basics of driving and racing. The time I have spent around race cars has inspired me to chase my dreams and I want to do the same for other kids.
